Hey there, I guess this is the part where I have to sum myself in digestible paragraphs, so here goes... I’m a multi hyphenate mumpreneur, wife, woman of Faith, creative, mentor, and consultant! I have a deep passion for The Arts and the transformation in the lives of those who are seen as the underdog, those who have been negatively labelled or seem less likely to succeed.
My career
My career stems almost 20 years of work in the youth and social care sectors, and 15 years within the arts, moving into senior and Directorial positions within both the charity, arts and criminal justice sectors.
Journey
I began my personal mentoring journey well over a decade ago. Utilizing the arts, theater, writing and performance, amalgamated with dedicated time and mentoring as a methodology for change, I have witnessed major transformations in individuals many people have deemed hard to reach.
Study
Alumni of Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and possessing an MA in Theater in the Criminal Justice System, I utilize my acumen in the field of applied arts, business, youth work and not for profits in my consultancy work. Generating income for charities and delivering training to corporate and NGOs, my focus is to support clients in building their organisations as well as aiding them to be well informed on strategy, policy, and societal issues within the youth and arts sectors.
As a devoted academic and researcher, I have continued my studies, currently undertaking a Doctorate in Philosophy with a focus on storytelling for transformation in order to tackle Serious Youth Violence.
